It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you all to the Guild of Water Purifiers & Researchers of Nigeria (GOWPARN). Our mission is clear—to ensure safe, high-quality potable water for all through research, innovation, and collaboration. Water is life, and together, we are committed to upholding the highest standards in purification, sustainability, and public health.

The Guild of Water Purifiers & Researchers of Nigeria (GOWPARN) is a professional body dedicated to ensuring the availability of safe, high-quality potable water through research, innovation, and best practices. Established in 2018, GOWPARN was founded to address the growing need for sustainable water purification solutions and to protect the industry’s standards in Nigeria and beyond.
Our mission is to promote excellence in water purification, collaborate with national and international bodies, and drive policies that safeguard public health. We are committed to research, education, and advocacy, ensuring clean and safe water for all.

- Protecting the interest and welfare of the members
- Protecting and maintaining the standard of the business in general.
- Considering the quality of what is going to be sold to the public.
- Researching into the sources of water in Nigeria generally. That is (a) Sources of water in every local and state government in Nigeria. (b) Ensuring that problems or challenges associated with drinkable water is resolved.
- To serve as a bank for valuable information on water issues.
- To establish national and international laboratories for effective and efficient water analysis.
- To establish a link with internal (national) and inter-national bodies on water matters.
- To collaborate with local, state and federal government on provision of healthy water for medical, commercial and domestic use of the people in the society.
- To ensure that water-burn disease is total eliminated in the society, with the co-operation of all authorities concern on water matters.
- To assist the government, associations in raising legitimate and affordable fund for the development and course of raising the standard of consumable water.
- To serve as a reference point and intellectual guiding or advice to local, state and federal government and other bodies that may be interested or willing to engage in production of domestic, industrial water as a business in any part of Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
- To put up a training ground or institution that can be comparable to national or international standard on water issues.
- To ensure that research work is carried out by the association is verifiable and compliance with national and international standard in collaboration with other international bodies.
- To establish offices in every local and state government in Nigeria.
- To ensure that water purification process is carried out in every nook and corner of Nigeria, in highest standard with best international practice. 4 GOWPARN
